I get many e mails suggesting topics which are on the mind of a lot of you who are reading this blog. One thing I really recognize and that is there are a lot of angry people out there who feel alienated, left behind, and bitter. People suggest that there are so many things to be depressed about today that I could go on writing this blog forever.
So here’s your invitation. I want you to e mail me and express in 100 words or less what is on your mind about what is causing so many people in the US, the greatest country in the world, to be so unhappy and depressed. Maybe we all can work together and figure out what went so wrong and what we together can do to help change the way things are going.
Tell me your stories and I will camoflage them so that no one will recognize them. Get it all off your chest. If you have done something terrible and feel that you cannot forgive yourself, put it down in writing and see if that does you some good. If someone has damaged you in such a way that you feel you can never find serenity and peace, let me know. Your privacy is respected. In addition to being a retired licensed clinical counselor, I am an ordained minister and want to look out for you.
It has to start somewhere. There has to be hope, reconciliation, and a belief that life is not meant to be hell on earth for you. When you send your stories and they are disguised and blended in with similar situations, you will find that you are not the only one suffering and hurting in such a way that you have given up.
Remember, it takes time and financial help to keep this blog going to help those who need it the most. If you can contribute, please do so. If not, send a good thought and perhaps a prayer for the continued increasing readership of this blog.
Thank you, friends. Sharon
